STARTUP

Biomara is early days with big ambitions to support an emerging seaweed industry

SEAWEED
FEEDSTOCK

BioMara will use native ocean-farmed species for its biomass feedstock. This will stimulate a local, sustainable feedstock supply refined into high-value, high-impact, and in-demand products. BioMara is against large-scale, unsustainable mechanical harvesting of wild seaweed.

Yes! Seaweed is slimy, but it is an extremely useful and dynamic biorefinery feedstock.

BioMara is ulocking the blue bioeconomy that relies on renewable, living aquatic resources such as seaweeds to deliver products to the market.
